A4 is one of them.  Stainless steel comes in all sizes and forms for use in industrial and domestic environments. Stainless steel is used where your equipment is exposed to corrosive elements, like acids, chloride water or seawater. 

Stainless steel : The most common use

A4 Quality Stainless steel or Inox in Food and catering:

• Catering equipment, brewing, distilling, food processing.

A4 Quality Stainless steel or Inox in Energy and heavy industries

• High-grade stainless steel like the A4 quality, is frequently used on storage tanks, valves, pipes, and other components exposed to corrosive elements.

A4 Quality Stainless steel or Inox in Medical

• Stainless steel is ideal for hygienic environments. It's easy to sterilize and stainless steel is resistant to corrosion.

A4 Quality Stainless steel or Inox in Automotive and transportation

• Used on transportation of chemicals, bulk transport of liquids and food products. Its high strength allows for thinner containers, saving on fuel costs, while it's corrosion resistance and reduces cleaning and maintenance costs.

A4 Quality Stainless steel or Inox in Architecture and construction 

• Used in coastal constructions, and waterline environments. 

Regarding the European standards, a distinction is made between stainless steels and heat-resisting steels. However, this distinction is often blurred and it is useful to consider them as one range of steels.
